10 Things To Be Grateful For This Holiday Season

Welcome back to Mind Time, your space to get out of the world around you and into your mind- more specifically, into the best version of your mind 🧠

The holidays can be such a beautiful time if we let them be! How do we do that? The same way we allow any season of our lives to be incredible- focus on the positive, release the negative we can’t change, and work to change the negative we can have an impact on with nothing but love and acceptance for ourselves.

With that being said, I thought it’d be a great idea to start the holiday season off with some gratitude! As you read, I hope you think of all the similar things you have to be grateful for and are inspired to infuse your life with more gratitude-> whether that’s recognizing all you have or treating yourself to more.

Self Check-In

Take a deep breath, relax your shoulders, & focus on the present

  • Check in with your mental space first:

    • How are you feeling? Honestly- don’t judge for the answer. Feel free to ask yourself why. Did something happen, or did you just fall into this emotion?

    • What’s one thing you can do for yourself today that’ll make your day at least 1% better?

    • What’s one thing you’ve been holding on to that you can work to release from your headspace?

  • Now, check in with your physical body:

    • When was the last time you moved? Get up & move, especially if it’s been over an hour

    • How are you feeling on the hunger & thirst front? Let’s all take a big sip of water because, chances are, you aren’t over-hydrated. Also, give yourself permission to get a snack or go eat a meal if you’re feeling hungry with no judgment
